Activities and attractions include:
• Dederang Golf Course

• Four Wheel Driving
• Swim in the clean mountain water of the Kiewa River
Dederang also has its own racecourse and is famous for its annual picnic raceday, held the first Saturday in January. The annual race meeting swells the small population to well over 6000; with many of these people travelling from Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, New South Wales, South Australia and even Queensland. There are plenty of activities for race goers, live music, local winery stalls, fashions on the field and entertainment for the children. Novelty events include the “Madmans Mile” footrace, dog high jumping and a tug-of-war competition. Come along with the kids and enjoy the great family atmosphere.
